Green Sports Alliance Expands Reach to Offer Specialized Collegiate Membership Tiers to Propel Sustainability in Sports
Leading the Way Toward a Greener Future in Sports and Higher Education
Portland, OR – The Green Sports Alliance (GSA) is actively advancing its mission of “Playing for the Next Generation” by enhancing its range of membership options and embracing collegiate athletics.
In response to the evolving needs and uniqueness of the collegiate sector, the GSA has hired a collegiate specialist to support collegiate members and introduced membership tiers tailored to address collegiate-specific needs and stakeholder groups. These membership levels are designed to provide increased value for the collegiate space, by providing collegiate-specific resources, services and support to propel the green sports movement forward.
Among the offerings of the three new collegiate membership levels, members will benefit from an array of offerings including: collegiate-focused webinars, virtual collegiate networking sessions, consultations with dedicated staff, access to the Play to Zero tracking platform and benchmarking information, and more.
“We are enthusiastic about such a pivotal stride in our journey towards a more sustainable future,” said Roger McClendon, Executive Director of the Green Sports Alliance. “It is time we extend our reach and influence to transform a greener tomorrow across the entire sports landscape”.
The GSA will host a virtual collegiate networking session on Thursday, November 16th at 12PM ET. This session serves as a dynamic kick-off for collegiate stakeholders to connect, collaborate and share knowledge. Please RSVP here.
