Trail Blazers Continue Sustainability Advocacy With New Environmental Web Site Platform And Announce Five Green Games Throughout The Season

PORTLAND, Ore. (Dec. 1, 2015) – Throughout this season, the Portland Trail Blazers will highlight five different areas of sustainability, one per month, to engage fans in the organization’s efforts to reduce its environmental footprint. A new web site featuring additional information about the organization’s ongoing commitment to sustainability can be found at www.trailblazers.com/live.“As an organization, we are dedicated to impacting kids and families in our region where they live, learn and play. ‘Live’ is our long-term commitment to the environment,” said Christa Stout, Vice President of Social Responsibility. “We are sharing information about what we are doing at the Moda Center, our 2025 goals, and encouraging partners, fans and employees to help us on our journey to be more sustainable for future generations.” In an effort to enhance their environmental education initiative and promote fan engagement, the Trail Blazers are announcing five Green Games representing five areas of sustainability – energy, waste, food, water and transportation.
