Unique sports and sustainability focused event to bring together key figures for crucial day of discussions30 October 2015; London, UK – Climate Action and the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) are teaming up with theFrench Ministry of Sport and Green Sports Alliance to host the Sustainable Innovation in Sport forum at the Stade de France, Paris on 7th December.

Held alongside the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP21) negotiations in Paris this December; this half-day meeting will convene 120+ leaders from Government, the United Nations, sports leagues, clubs and governing bodies, and corporate sustainability leaders.The exclusive meeting will highlight the impactful role that sustainability in sport can offer to the wider climate change effort by bringing awareness to game changing initiatives as well as focusing on new policies and technologies that can change the face of the sports and sustainability space.Sustainable Innovation in Sport will be the leading sports focused event held during COP21 and will discuss the crucial role sports events, stadiums, teams, leagues and governing bodies can play in the effort to tackle climate change.Read the full article here.
