Super Bowl 50 To Develop “Green” Legacy For San Francisco Bay Area

The NFL and the Super Bowl 50 Host Committee teamed to develop a series of initiatives reducing environmental impact of Super Bowl activities and to leave a “green” legacy throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. Verizon has also joined as a key partner in several of these projects including the Super Kids – Super Sharing Book and Sports Equipment donation project, the Super Bowl 50 Urban Forestry Project and a public E-Waste Recycling Rally.A series of environmental projects, funded by Verizon, the NFL and the Super Bowl 50 Host Committee, will take place throughout the Bay Area during the month of January.Read the full article here.
