As part of the team’s focus on more sustainable operations throughout the organization, the St. Louis Rams have partnered with locally-based Microgrid Solar on several new clean-energy projects at the team headquarters. Microgrid will be conducting an energy makeover that will accelerate the Rams work toward their Green Initiative and cut energy costs at Rams Park. The projects already in progress include:

  • A 25 kW-output solar installation at Rams Park, including a solar sculpture installed last November
  • A comprehensive energy audit to identify further recommendations for facility upgrades
  • An educational display for visitors at Rams Park highlighting the team’s green efforts
  • Staff and fan outreach to educate and promote responsible energy use

“For the Rams, pursuing these opportunities fits with our green efforts, but it is also a smart operations decision that saves the organization on energy costs,” Lisa Boaz, senior manager of marketing and advertising for the Rams, said about the partnership. “The goal with our green efforts has always been to not only do the right thing, but to help our fans learn from what we are doing, and then we can really have an impact.”Read the full article here.Related Articles:St. Louis Rams Celebrate 2013 Green Week
