Real Madrid & Bayern Munich to Wear One-off Kits Made from Recycled Ocean Plastic

Real Madrid and Bayern Munich will wear strips made from recycled plastic found in the oceans for one-off games in November to help raise awareness about the importance of protecting against pollution.
The club's kit sponsor Adidas is launching its first performance football products in association with Parley - who use up-cycled marine plastic waste collected by clean-up operations in coastal areas of the Maldives.
Real Madrid will wear the environmentally-friendly strip, in traditional all-white, for their La Liga clash with Sporting Gijon on Saturday November 26 while Bayern Munich will sport an all-red kit in this weekend's Bundesliga game with Hoffenheim.
Both kits, which claim to be the first made completely from materials found in the ocean, will feature the club's logo and the company's famed three stripes, but the club and sponsors have agreed not to have their logo fully visible in order to make the shirt as sustainable as possible.
