Mt. Hood Meadows is committed to sustainability. Here are a few highlights from the past year.
- On slope litter collection and cleanup in partnership with SOLVE & the Snowrider Project.
- Plastic straw replacement program: Mt. Hood Meadows is replacing their disposable plastic straws, in addition to other disposable plastic beverage related items, with paper straws which will be available on request
- Disposable plastic glove recycling program: Mt. Hood Meadows will begin working with Kimberly-Clark’s RightCycle program to recycle their disposable Nitrile plastic gloves used in much/most of the resort.
